Through lies and deception, hobby hunter Jacomella Sergio was able to obtain an invalid ruling from the District Court of Zofingen.

Jacomella Sergio, a member of the militant association «Jagd Schweiz», was required to appear before the court on June 5, 2018. Several criminal complaints filed by IG Wild beim Wild against the aforementioned association and its members are currently pending, up to and including the Federal Court in Lausanne.

Jacomella Sergio was questioned and filed a motion to be acquitted of guilt and punishment. The plaintiff (Sonnthal Carl) was not required to appear under the rules of procedure. Ideal conditions, then, to observe the hobby hunter from 4663 Aarburg at «work» from a distance. However, anyone who knows the managing director of the dubious company Ecfos is aware that this is of no use whatsoever in establishing the truth. Hobby hunters are always Pinocchios as well.

EIt was very much the intent of the accused to damage the reputation of the plaintiff by calling him a complete idiot and an animal abuser (in addition to rat-catcher, liar, etc. in other Facebook comments). In this context, the defamatory comments by Jacomella Sergio are what is relevant — not the false image (act. 044) submitted by Jacomella Sergio, upon which the District Court of Zofingen based its ruling on account of Jacomella Sergio’s untruthful statements. The hobby hunter Jacomella Sergio also presented a different version to the Zofingen public prosecutor’s office (see below).

How will the Higher Court in Aarau assess the case on the basis of the appeal brief submitted by the public prosecutor’s office and the plaintiff?

Hobby hunting can be an early symptom of a dangerous psychopathy that is not limited to animals alone. Many studies confirm that acts of violence against animals demand our full attention!

Both the serial killer and the hobby hunter believe they are participating in something important. Brain anomalies are found in serial killers with striking frequency. Violence leaves traces in the brain after a short time. Neuropsychologists confirm: The amygdala, a core region of the brain, is noticeably underdeveloped or impaired in violent individuals such as hobby hunters. When this central part of the brain (the emotional sorting center) is defective, the sense of disgust, among other things, is switched off. This can be observed without doubt time and again in everyday conversations with hobby hunters.

At the point where violence is discharged, damage is therefore caused in the same way as at the point to which it is directed.

Notorious militant hunting magazines are full of images of hunters holding a weapon and posing in a dominant position over their victims. Such magazines stimulate the imagination of hobby hunters, making them want to hunt more and more, in all corners of the world. Hobby hunters need such photographs and films in order to feel important.

Language holds no deeper meaning for a hobby hunter. This is already evident from the animal-contemptuous hunters' jargon. For him, it carries no emotional weight. When a passionate hobby hunter or psychopath says, for example: “I love you,” it means little more to him than the sentence “I would like a cup of coffee.” This is one of the reasons why psychopaths remain so cool, calm, and composed in the face of extreme danger, and why they are so reward-driven and prone to taking risks. Their brain is literally less “switched on” than the brain of normal people.

The IG Wild beim Wild is a non-profit interest group dedicated to the sustainable and non-violent improvement of the human-animal relationship, with a particular specialization in the legal aspects of wildlife protection. One of our main concerns is to introduce a contemporary and serious wildlife management system in the cultural landscape, modeled on the Canton of Geneva – without hobby hunters but with individuals of integrity as wildlife wardens. The monopoly on the use of force belongs in the hands of the state and must not be delegated to gangs of hobby hunters.

The IG also maintains a «Blacklist«, which documents in a timely manner how hobby hunters – from ordinary farmers to members of parliament – belonging to the association «JagdSchweiz» are rooted in criminality, beyond the bounds of law and order. For example, in the canton of Graubünden alone, according to the cantonal Office for Hunting and Fishing, there are over 1,000 reports and/or fines issued against hobby hunters every year – hunters who are affiliated with the problem association «JagdSchweiz» through their cantonal associations. If these figures and costs are extrapolated to the whole of Switzerland, one arrives at criminal dimensions that, in a constitutional state, should long since have become intolerable! Any other club or association would have been dissolved long ago.
