Bow hunter Andreas Kieling was eliminated from 7 vs Wild
7 vs. Wild (English abbr. for seven versus wild) is a reality game show by German video producer Fritz Meinecke. In the show, seven participants are stranded in the wilderness for seven days with seven items. During this time, the contestants must complete daily challenges. Whoever has the most points at the end and holds out until the finish wins the season.
For the third season of "7 vs Wild," wildlife filmmaker and bow hunter Andreas Kieling travelled to British Columbia, Canada.
In the 3rd season there are no more daily challenges.
All teams that hold out for 14 days are considered winners. Participants receive a sleeping bag and may additionally put together clothing and any equipment of their choice, as long as it fits into a specified 1-litre drinking bottle. Multimedia devices or illegal items are excluded.
But even before the show begins, the wildlife filmmaker is eliminated due to “boundary violation.” Now the creator of “7 vs. Wild” reveals what happened.
The “7 vs Wild” story states: “Due to an incident between Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (Affe auf Bike) and Andreas Kieling during the preparation phase in Canada, we decided, before the participants were even stranded, not to allow Andreas Kieling to take part in the third season of ‚7 vs Wild‘. It was a boundary violation that we did not want and could not tolerate.”
What exactly happened was initially unknown, as those involved kept silent. Now, however, Fritz Meinecke is speaking out. The creator of “7 vs. Wild” explains what took place. In a car park, Kieling began dancing with participant Hannah Assil, even though she clearly did not want to. This was reportedly followed by an inappropriate situation involving Bendixen.
The wildlife filmmaker began dancing with her, which Bendixen initially allowed. The dancing was "like at a wedding," says Meinecke. "You take one hand forward and place the other on the lower back." Then the boundary was crossed. "He pulled Affe close and I kid you not: within milliseconds his hand moved completely to her ass."
"Very important: we are not talking about the hand slipping down a little bit," Meinecke emphasizes. "No, there was real grabbing, gripping, pressing. There was also a bit of hip-grinding, where you just think: Not cool at all, back off." Everyone standing nearby was then in a state of "absolute shock." Bendixen then broke away and left. "At the very latest at that point, someone should have noticed: Oh, that might have been a bit much. Maybe I should ask," says the creator of "7 vs Wild".
