The Swiss Greens Want Fundamental Rights for Animals
At the delegates' assembly on 28 January 2023, the Swiss Greens adopted a new electoral programme.
Fundamental Rights for Animals in the Agenda 2023–2027
In the next legislative term, the Swiss Green Party wishes to Switzerland anchor, among other things, fundamental rights for animals. They are to become legal persons and have an enforceable right to dignity, life, and physical and mental integrity, as stated in the Agenda 2023–2027.
Hobby hunters, the self-proclaimed predators, live a culture of senseless violence — a court in Bellinzona recently affirmed this.
Ethical, non-violent and responsible
