Recreational hunter allegedly shot 3 people
Two people were shot dead in Dänischenhagen near Kiel. The suspected perpetrator was on the run for hours. The search is over, but police have now found another body in connection with the case.
On 19.05.2021 at around 11:00 a.m., a homicide occurred on Rosenweg in Dänischenhagen.
Two people killed by gunfire
According to the current state of investigations, a male and a female person were shot and killed in a semi-detached house.According to RTL, the man is reported to hold a hunting licence.
The recreational hunter allegedly harassed his ex-wife on multiple occasions. In November 2020, he is said to have beaten her so severely that she was admitted to a clinic with serious head injuries and a broken nose. Less than two months later, he allegedly ambushed his former partner again and threatened her. The result: a court-ordered restraining order.
Third victim the following day
Since the morning of 20.05.2021, the detective departments of the District Criminal Investigation Office Kiel and the Kiel Public Prosecutor’s Office have been investigating a further homicide in Dänischenhagen. The 52-year-old victim also came from the recreational hunter’s personal circle. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
