In a cynical, defamatory, slanderous, sarcastic, and malicious manner, and through disparagement, employees of IG Wild beim Wild are being publicly denounced on the internet by David Clavadetscher of the association Jagd Schweiz.

The militant organization Jagd Schweiz is making unfounded and knowingly false accusations against IG Wild beim Wild on the internet, claiming that they actively and deliberately advertise for, for example, hunting schools or fishing clubs. This goes decidedly too far and is an unparalleled impertinence. We have not entered into any cooperation with the companies named by David Clavadetscher, nor do we have any advertising agreement with these companies.

False claims made against better knowledge

On 18.3.2018, IG Wild beim Wild informed David Clavadetscher via email about how Google places advertising based on his personal browsing behaviour on the internet. This came after he had emailed us his «Open Letter» on the same day, full of enthusiasm about our new online continuing education course for hobby hunters.

Explanations from IG Wild beim Wild to David Clavadetscher and Jagd Schweiz dated 18.3.2018

Less than 24 hours later, on 19.3.2018, the militant hobby hunter David Clavadetscher publicly published his knowingly false claims on the Jagd Schweiz website and on Facebook, etc.

Anyone who shares a defamatory post on Facebook is committing a criminal offence.

The almost pitiable piece published by the association Jagd Schweiz in calendar week 12 is rife with misjudgements, impropriety, and the most abysmal journalistic research. And this, despite the fact that on 18 March 2018 we presented the writer David Clavadetscher with the correct facts regarding his confused statements.

Denunciation without a legally valid verdict

It appears that the unprofessionalism of hobby hunters is now being actively promoted and pushed online as well.

Furthermore, an employee of IG Wild beim Wild had already been publicly denounced as a criminal — knowingly and against better judgement — on the website of Jagd Schweiz and their Facebook page, for which David Clavadetscher is responsible as managing director through his company Sandona GmbH in Zofingen, even though no legally valid verdict had yet been reached.

Legal investigations have revealed that Jagd Schweiz is thereby acting in violation of criminal law. A publication of this nature — including an address and without any indication that the verdict is not legally final, etc. — is not permissible under personal rights and media law.

Criminal complaint against David Clavadetscher

The repeated defamatory, degrading, unfounded, hypocritical, and knowingly false public statements made by David Clavadetscher and Jagd Schweiz — statements that pose a lasting threat to social peace — may be criminally relevant and have necessarily triggered a criminal complaint against David Clavadetscher and others.

David Clavadetscher and his association Jagd Schweiz are deeply rooted in the criminal activity of its members (hobby hunters). One new tactic employed by this militant association is, among other things, using arbitrary complaints to silence fact-based criticism from peaceful citizens.

The managing director of Jagd Schweiz also contacts journalists in an unpleasant manner — with incoherent leaps of thought — who write objectively or critically about hobby hunting in the media. We are equally familiar with this from the canton of Graubünden, where hunting officials not only pressure local media by withdrawing print orders and similar means, but also extort those who publish hunting-critical advertisements, letters to the editor, and so on.

The criminally relevant offenses describe the rejecting, exclusionary, and hostile attitude toward persons or groups seen as different. These are punishable acts under the Swiss Criminal Code. The association Jagd Schweiz applies the same pattern to animals.

Lobbying by a small community whose views are mostly radical and far-fetched, and which contradict the fundamental ethical values of society, amounts to pure opinion-making and manipulation — particularly of young people. The latter is evident, for example, in the hobby hunters' concept of fair chase, which is diametrically opposed to animal welfare laws, as well as in the prohibited depictions of violence against tortured animals that appear in hobby hunters' media.

The IG Wild beim Wild is convinced that the association Jagd Schweiz is not a normal club as defined by law, and that it is fundamentally driven by an uncontrolled violent and criminal energy. Indications of this regularly surface. More on the animal welfare problem of hobby hunting.
