Injured cat deliberately seeks help
In Turkey, an apparently injured cat walked into a hospital and stayed there until it was treated by a nurse. Security camera footage documents the behaviour of the animal.
First aid with a wooden spatula and gauze bandage
A video shows the first aid treatment of the cat. Özdemir splinted the cat's broken leg using a wooden spatula and a gauze bandage. This serves the medical purpose of relieving pressure on the fracture site and supporting the healing process. The animal remained completely calm throughout and waited until the procedure was finished.
«I monitored the cat for a while,» says Özdemir to «Enson Haber». The animal then relaxed and left through the same way it had entered — as if it had known the route. A remarkable example of the intelligence and the trust of animals.
