Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI agents and tools access your site’s SEO data programmatically. You can query meta tags, schema, redirects, and audit results from external AI tools like Claude Desktop. The endpoint is rate-limited (60 requests/minute) and requires a secret token.
How does Autopilot work?
When enabled, Autopilot automatically generates meta tags, schema markup, and alt text whenever a post is published or updated. It skips posts that already have manually set data. You can enable or disable each component independently in Settings.
Does it work with AI Translate Pro?
Yes. Both plugins share the same Anthropic API key. When AI Translate Pro translates a page, SEO Pilot automatically adds hreflang tags and can generate localized meta titles and descriptions. No extra configuration needed.
What happens if I remove my API key?
All existing meta tags, schema markup, redirects, and SEO data remain in your WordPress database forever. Your site continues to show optimized data as usual. You simply cannot generate new AI content until you add an API key again. Delete the key and all API costs stop immediately.
