Livestock protection works: Wolves kill fewer farm animals
Livestock protection measures are paying off: In Graubünden and Valais, fewer farm animals were killed by wolves in the first half of 2023 than in the previous year.
Fewer kills despite more wolves
In the canton of Valais, 55% fewer farm animals were killed than in the previous year. In Graubünden, kills were down by as much as 80%. The federally funded livestock protection measures.
