Verband Jagd Schweiz loses in court

3. Because of these hobby hunters, wildlife in Switzerland suffers.
4. The association “Jagd Schweiz” and other dubious hunting associations were established primarily to take action against predators (fox, lynx, wolf, and the like) — their competitors for prey — and they continue to do so to this day. This is likely a main reason why hobby hunters are met with criticism from all directions.
5. The association Jagd Schweiz cultivates above all a culture of disrespect and violence — the exact opposite of what a civilised person in our society should aspire to. Hobby hunters even threaten civil war should fox hunting, among other things, be discontinued.
6. Members of the association Jagd Schweiz have connections to those in positions of power in general. Furthermore, they employ violence or other means suited to intimidation (scaremongering, propaganda, hunters’ tall tales, etc.) in order to exert influence over politics, the media, public administration, the judiciary, and the economy.
7. Practically everything that is cruel, unnecessary, and heartless is promoted by the association Jagd Schweiz.
8. For these people from the dark world of hunting circles, no effort is too great to manipulate democracy, freedom of the press, freedom of opinion, and so on.

After hearing the evidence, Judge Siro Quadri was of the opinion that the above statements were not lies and therefore had no defamatory character. An acquittal by the court followed.

The hobby hunter David Clavadetscher attempted to influence and manipulate the judge with falsehoods and irrelevancies. Once again, he was unable to provide any substantive or relevant evidence.

The behaviour of a wildlife killer within the justice system is always a reflection of how such individuals act in nature, in politics, and in society.

The verdict is final and legally binding.
