40 daily fines for hobby hunter
The animal rights organisation also reported the hobby hunter to the public order and regulatory office. Shattered skulls indicated that shots had been fired at close range. One of the young animals was missing a leg, suggesting that the animal had attempted to flee after the first shots. The hobby hunter was convicted and sentenced to 40 daily fines.
Anyone who has cruelly killed young animals and even brags about it on Facebook must be severely punished.

Fox hunting counterproductive and cruel
Foxes serve recreational hunters primarily as living targets. Hobby hunting for foxes has no regulatory effect on the population, as losses are quickly offset by immigration and rising birth rates. Fox populations regulate themselves through social structures, food availability, and disease.
In Luxembourg, fox hunting has been banned since April 2015. Such a ban is long overdue in Germany — which is why PETA has launched a corresponding petition.
