A 42-year-old hobby hunter was found dead near Ferrera in Graubünden after falling in steep terrain close to a hunting post.

On Tuesday, a lifeless hobby hunter was found near Ferrera in the canton of Graubünden.
The man had fallen in steep, rugged terrain close to a hunting post.
Hunting companions launch search
The 42-year-old had made his way to a hunting post in the area below Mut Grischol on Monday evening, intending to hunt in the early hours of the following morning. When he could not be reached by phone on Tuesday morning, his hunting companions launched a search. The hobby hunter was found lifeless below the said hunting post the same day, shortly before 1 p.m.
Fall in steep terrain
According to initial findings by the Graubünden public prosecutor's office and the cantonal police, the hobby hunter's death was the result of a fall in steep and rugged terrain.
