Vaud recreational hunters' chief resigns
The co-president of the Vaud hobby hunters resigns with immediate effect following threats and acts of vandalism.
Philippe Duperrex, a victim of threats and acts of vandalism, resigns with immediate effect from his position in the association of Vaud sections of the Diana.
«That goes too far, it is intolerable. My priority is the safety of my family,» Philippe Duperrex stated in a press release.
In the crosshairs of wolf supporters?
Philippe Duperrex was president of the campaign committee for a Yes to the Federal Act on Hunting and the protection of wild mammals and birds. «I have no irrefutable evidence, but the content of the anonymous messages suggests that the criminal acts are the work of extremist pro-wolf activists,» he concedes.
Six criminal complaints
