Scandal at the German Public Award
The recreational hunters of Verden win the German Engagement Prize despite receiving fewer votes. The organizers changed the rules at short notice.
The fact that recreational hunters are a thoroughly dishonest, manipulative and militant group of violent individuals is becoming increasingly evident even in mainstream media.
Each year, the public vote of the German Engagement Prize 2023 competition is held in Germany.

Rule violation in favor of recreational hunters
However, the rules were summarily broken in favor of the recreational hunters, who were declared the winners. Simone Schmidt, Rehkitz- und Tierhilfe from Bavaria, clearly won the public vote with 25,339 votes, ahead of the hunters’ association of LK Verden with 21,363 votes. The organizers of the German Engagement Prize reshuffled the rules and suddenly awarded both projects in the same category.
Subsequently, the scandal continued to grow. The Verden hunters’ association celebrated itself as the sole winner. NDR reported on the award ceremony, but only mentioned the Verden hunters’ association. Simone Schmidt and her Rehkitz- und Tierhilfe from Bavaria was not mentioned with a single word!
