A mountain, vast glaciers, and at the very top of a vertiginously high rock face, a small dot with two enormous horns: the Alpine ibex Rocko, spending his final hours in the Italian Gran Paradiso National Park.
Through flashbacks, the documentary, which accompanied the wild animal over seven years, depicts the most important moments of his life.
Life in a Hostile Environment
His story begins on a December morning in the snow-covered rock faces of Gran Paradiso, as a male challenges his rival on the edge of the abyss. Life in this hostile environment is harsh, and Rocko must navigate a world full of brutal fights, storms, and avalanches. He is an exceptional climber, scaling mountains no other mammal dares to ascend.
