McDonald’s launches plant-based McNuggets
McDonald's introduces McPlant Nuggets made from plant-based ingredients. Germany is the first market. Made from peas, corn and wheat.

McDonald’s McNuggets are going poultry-free. The fast food giant is introducing plant-based McNuggets next week. Germany will be the first market where they will be offered in more than 1’400 restaurants.
McPlant Nuggets, made from peas, corn and wheat, are the second product McDonald’s has developed together with Beyond Meat.
European customers more receptive
European customers have generally been more receptive to plant-based meat products than customers in the United States. In the US, McDonald’s ended a test of the McPlant burger without announcing further plans. More on the topic of vegan nutrition and nutrition.
