Rescue dogs fly first class to Turkey
After the earthquake in Turkey and northern Syria, rescue dogs were deployed to find people trapped under rubble.
Over 140 dogs from around the world in action
When the full extent of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria became known, rescuers came from around the world and brought their dogs with them. Over 140 trained rescue dogs helped pull survivors from the rubble.
First class for heroes
Turkish Airlines gave each dog a seat in first class: “The least we can do to show our appreciation for the heroic efforts of these dogs,” a spokesperson told The Independent. More on the topic Wildlife.
